I’ve just Discovered this show Fantasmas on HBO Max and fell into the world of Julio Torres and I’m slowly becoming obsessed 🤩 very inspiring and makes me want to pursue my dreams and aspirations even more. Also I love live interviews/podcasts where they can interact with the audience 🎉

This was when Meghan's head has started to grow out of proportions. She's trying to look prettyband sexy for the camera, thinking the shows success is because of her. In reAlity the show is dissolved because of her. Same thing is happening to the House of Winsor.

Thanks for sharing this discussion! I love this so much. It gave a little insight into creating of the show and character Armand. Assad is so lovely. He did amazing job playing Armand. Rolin and Mark are great on making such an amazing show adapting such rich material and putting so much sense in it.

Now that I know Mark Johnson produced The Holdovers and IWTV, I cannot stop seeing parallels. Lestat and Mary are haunted by the loss of their child. For Mary, the Vietnam war took her son and for Lestat, the coven took his daughter. Louis and Angus both have strained relationships with their mothers, and they long for their old family dynamic to return. Angus feels forgotten by his mother. Louis felt rejected by his mother. Angus wants his father back in his life. Louis wants his brother back in his life. Claudia and Paul were relentlessy bullied for something beyond their control (her existence as a child vampire and his medical condition that makes him smell like fish. They both ultimately leave toxic work places. Claudia runs off with Madeliene and Paul drives off after taking the blame for letting Angus see his father. I love it here

Assad is such a lovely introvert. His Armand is so captivating in all his volunerability and insanity. I am happy they highlighted Daniel Hart's music bc he sets the mood like no other. Pieces are so intertwined in my mind that whenever I listen just for pleasure of it takes me back to those scenes immediately. And what they manage to deal with challenge of seperating the book in two seasons by bringing dimention to these characters, splashing hints from other books is fantastic. Iwtv brought tv back.

Season 2 was INCREDIBLE. Paris has never been my favorite part of the story and this adaptation made me obsessed. And the same with Armand, Assad’s beautiful performance endeared me so much to him as a character despite any and all atrocities in his wake. The force of talent in all departments is unmatched

Can’t believe s2 is over already it was AMAZING! 10’s all across the board for Assad, he was phenomenal! His portrayal of Armand has made him my favorite. Really looking forward to seeing what he’ll be up to next season.

Everyone needs to watch IWTV! It is so nuanced and finely detailed; every time you watch it you notice something new :) I swear its the next Gilmore Girls but goth. Its helped me work through personal feelings in my life and now I'm reading Anne Rice, so thank you to all the cast and creatives for bringing this to life 🖤
